Join our journey rowing the Atlantic
The Challenge
We are Sophie, Polly, Janine and Miyah, together we are team Cruising Free. We are taking on an Atlantic row, rowing 3,200 miles (5,150 kms) from Lanzarote to Antigua in 2025 as part of Atlantic Dash. Out on the ocean it will just be us and our 10-meter-long ocean rowing boat (and a whole lot of sea) making it an unassisted crossing. Alongside this being an epic adventure we are fundraising for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Paul Sartori Hospice at Home.
The Journey
to the start line and beyond.....
We have a long way to go before we even reach the start line: we have £150,000 to raise, a boat to buy and kit out, rowing training to do (constantly!) and many, many new skills to learn, as well as raising as much money as we can for our two chosen charities.
There is so much to share with you as we learn along the way and we can’t wait to take you with us on this mad journey…. truly off our rowlocks!!
